Dryden prose have the shape of literary criticism, it is not specially publised but is the companion by rhyme publised. And famous critical works is “ DISCOURSE ON SATIRE “ and “ ESSAY OF DRAMATIC POESY”.

John Evelyn ( 1620 – 1706  ) and Samuel Pepys ( 1633 – 1703 ) being famed as the prosaic, because they written the diary in daily language about Restorasi citizen with the politics scandal.

John Bunyan ( 1628 – 1688 ) is a prosaic from and for citizenry. He writting religious allegories in a simple language and idiomtic. He is an ordinary worker and has no educated but he believe to his religion and the Puritan spirit. he become a lay preacher who has an influential in the society. it can be prove by his struggle when in the prison because he against the rules to make  general meeting where is often give a criticism statement to Anglikan church and Charles government. when he in prison, he write a great work is " THE PILGRIM'S PROGRESS " that publised in 1678. it is the success work beside the obvious and the simple language. Bunyan write almost 60 work, this a great achievement.
